QUESTIONS WE
GET ASKED...
Common questions people ask when purchasing a Nomadic.
CAN MY CAR TOW A NOMADIC?
Many vehicles are capable of towing Nomadic campers and caravans, but it’s important to confirm your vehicle is suitable for the specific model.

To determine if your vehicle is suitable:
-
Check your towing capacity in your owner’s manual.
-
Compare it with the ATM (Aggregate Trailer Mass) of the model you’re considering.
-
Ensure your tow ball weight rating matches the model's requirements.
-
Consider GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) and GCM (Gross Combination Mass) to stay compliant with road laws.

It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure their vehicle is legally and safely capable of towing their chosen Nomadic model. If you’re unsure, speak with your local dealer or a towing specialist.

DO I NEED ELECTRIC BRAKES?
Yes. All tow vehicles require an electronic brake controller to be fitted before collection of any model Nomadic camper or caravan. We typically recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTE
To ensure safety and protect your warranty, the brake controller and Anderson plug must be installed by an Australian qualified auto-electrician. Incorrect installation can cause issues and may affect warranty coverage.
